Hi all!!! And welcome back to my blog… this is what I would say if I ever start doing sims videos but I don’t know. I know a lot of simmers go down that path but the editing is whats holding me back, honestly.
Anyway!! That was very random. How is everyone doing? Simming I hope.
I have been working on a new project I have started… yes I know I start many projects and never finish any. But I am committed to finishing my Jensen Jourdan story as well as my Thornheart Legacy. Im working on having more than one chapter ready before posting the next chapters.
Things take me a long time because I can’t help but want everything to be the perfect way I want it to be. I am a perfectionist at heart, I used to think it was a good trait but I have long realized it is a horrific trait that you can’t get rid off. It sucks in amazing proportions.
NOW… on to todays build!

DOWNLOAD – – Remember to have bb.moveobjects on active before placing lot. Also, if your sim cannot use the counter to cook because its got items, all you have to do is hold the “Alt” key and move the objects to another counter while on Build Mode. Or delete them and leave a counter empty for their use.
I like to decorate a lot, but is fine to leave a counter empty while you are playing so your sims can use it without a problem.

How the neighborhood is looking so far.
This is not my photo, just to get that out of the way in case someone wants to point that out. Anywaaay…. this is the photo that inspired me to build Writer’s Nook. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I will!!
It’s been perhaps a week or more and I have finally finished my next build which is the flower shop home I re-created in SIMS 4 for my story Jensen and The Ghost of Jourdan, but which I will also upload for all of you to enjoy if you are into the country life.
Bare with me before I show the pictures because I would like to tell a side story that relates to this lot:
The main idea for the style of this house came from my childhood and spending time at my grandparents which had a house that was old style but it was by no means a small house. It used to belong to a rich Spanish family in Cuba before the communist regime took power. The family went back to Spain and left the house to the maid which was my grandma who lived there with her husband and 5 children. Later, they ran a daycare business inside the house, and that is how my mother found them. They took a liking to me and made me part of the family which is why I called them grandparents. Now… all that said, I had a rich childhood in part thanks to them because I got to experience two different worlds at the same time; one being a conservative household, that ran a church and lived in a big old house with inside patio and lots of plants and flowers all around; my grandma also did some alterations in exchange for money and so they had an area dedicated to tailoring work; the other world was my household, my mother was an actress so she was more on the liberal side. And when I’m talking about conservative vs liberal, in now way is political, just the social aspect of it. In Cuba there is only one political view, that is communism. This lot is made inspired by my grandmother, but in no way looks anything like the house she lived in. Is just the feel of the life style. My grandmother was from the country, so I did incorporate a lot of things in this lot that are found in country houses.
It features 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One bathroom is what they call half bathroom since it doesn’t have a shower or bathtub. The other bathroom is shared among the residents of this house. It is a huge bathroom though. The attic serves as a third bedroom because I added a bed there, but it can just be an attic if you please.
Everything has a very classical look to it and also shabby-chic.
