The Big News

That wasn’t so big after all, since we all knew it was coming right?

Yes, The Sims 4 will be released in 2014 as most of you might already know. I don’t want to rant about it, because I think is pointless to do so, I just want to give out my thoughts and see who else is interested or not among my simmer neighbors. ^ ^

Alright so the news was out yesterday through a conference video “thing” that The Sims 4 is going to be released some time in 2014, and that it has many cool features that our lovely Sims 3 doesn’t have. That is a given since I figure the only excuse they have to yet release another sims game is because they would be offering new tools and features for us to explore. However I think that so far I haven’t heard anything too amazing, aside from the worlds being able to be personalized in game (I’m thinking is something beyond buydebug and placing lots) this is one of the major drawbacks of Sims 3, that you cannot add new roads and change the lots size in game.

There is a picture circulating around with three quirky sims that look rather too cartoonish for it to be anything better than Sims 3. I’m thinking there will be new expressions, and interactions. But I remember when I first bought Sims 3, I thought that aside from the look of the sims (graphically) which was really nice compared to Sims 2, there was nothing very different about them. However, The Sims 3 really was a major jump from The Sims 2. I mean, it literally had super cool new features to offer and I was not -in the least- sad to part from Sims 2. I have to admit, with the news of The Sims 4, I am a little sad that simmers will in time forget Sims 3.

PS: Just read that NRaas will not be modding for The Sims 4. Now, THAT, is sad news ha, ha, ha, ha.
